Terms of Use

These terms apply to the DOT Crosshair app for Windows (the "App") and the website at dotcrosshair.com (the "Site"), both provided by Mako Logics LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, or using the Site, you agree to these terms.

Free license

The App is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Windows devices you own or control. You may not sell the App, redistribute modified copies of it, remove its copyright or signature information, or present it as your own work. Please download the App only from the Microsoft Store or from this Site.

Game rules are your responsibility

Every game, publisher, anti-cheat system and tournament sets its own rules. You are solely responsible for making sure your use of the App complies with the terms of service, anti-cheat policies and competition rules of each game you play. Some games and tournaments prohibit overlays of any kind. We do not guarantee that any game or anti-cheat system permits the App, and we are not responsible for any warning, suspension, ban or other action a game publisher or organizer takes against your account.

No warranty

THE APP AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL WORK WITH ANY PARTICULAR GAME, DISPLAY MODE OR HARDWARE, OR THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAKO LOGICS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ACCOUNTS, GAME ITEMS, PROGRESS OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Trademarks

DOT Crosshair is a product of Mako Logics LLC. All game names mentioned on the Site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. DOT Crosshair is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher. Windows and Microsoft Store are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. The artwork on this Site is original and was created for it.

The Site

Crosshair previews on the Site, including the builder, are approximations. Display scaling and browser zoom can make them look different from the App. We may change or update the App, the Site or these terms at any time; the effective date above shows when these terms last changed.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Texas. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
